Snowcat Operator Matt Irvin Knows a Good Sunset When He Sees One

Matt Irvin has been operating a snowcat at Steamboat Resort for 23 years. While grooming the terrain, he sees gorgeous sunsets over the Yampa Valley, and striking snowscapes at night. His exhibit “Groom with a View: Photographs by Matt Irvin” will be on display at The Barley from Tuesday, March 5 to Sunday, April 28. A ‘Meet the Artist’ event will take place on Thursday, March 7 from 6-8 p.m. This collection of photographs showcases his unique perspective and love for his work.
